Routes To Pluto – DDH Hazy Pale Ale (5.5%)

I recently visited Oast Taproom on Preston Street in Brighton and enjoyed a pint of Routes To Pluto, a beautifully double dry hopped (DDH) 5.5% pale ale from Worthing based brewery Cloak+Dagger.

I enjoy some pale ales, but there’s been a recent trend for thin and watery pale ales, which I’m not a fan of. Routes To Pluto is certainly not one of those, the mouthfeel is robust, not thick exactly but it definitely has substance.

Routes To Pluto is a modern, crispy and citrussy hazey pale ale that’s refreshing and almost chewable, I really enjoyed it.

Routes To Pluto is definitely worth checking out, though it doesn’t seem to be available in the Cloak+Dagger webshop at the time of publication.
